AXIS makes the most advanced flight simulators on the market today. We use state of the art technology and design to achieve the highest possible realism and reliability. It is our conviction that better devices mean better training and better pilots.
Quality is a matter of component and build quality, as well as design. We use the best components available. Our build quality is at the leading edge of the market. We also go a step further – as engineers, we always ask ourselves if there is a better way. And very often there is. Thus, instead of a forest of cables, our simulators use just a few I/O buses. Instead of many computers, they need only a couple.
We developed our own control loading system for higher fidelity and lower power consumption. Our Smart Panels replicate the functions and appearance of original instruments, but cost less and are much more durable.

In engineering, the combination of efficiency, functionality, reliability, strength and cost-effectiveness is often called “elegance”, and that is how we design our simulators. This involves many innovations that simplify the user Interface, reduce complexity while enhancing performance.
Our I/O system design is modular and scalable, so that simulators can be configured faster and easier. There is just one type of I/O board, with one type of plug-in extension cards. There is a single software tool for all hardware management. We use fewer cables, components and computers resulting in a simulator that is more efficient, more stable and easier to work with at every level. Our Smart Panels provide customers the choice of simulated or stimulated instruments that replicate the look and feel of actual instruments, but are significantly more cost effective and maintenance efficient. With our modular approach, customers can also use real instruments where necessary or so desired.
Our simulators are created and assembled with intelligence designed in – with advanced features such as self-monitoring and automatic self-test programs installed in every FFS. All of this and many other unique features result in simulators that are more efficient, more available, and more user-friendly than anything else on the market.
