Funding Project:

M2 Grant for Innovative and Productive Investments in Companies – Wachstums!Schritt

Project:

AXIS Flight Training Systems is developing the RoRo-FFS, the first simulator with modular interchangeable cockpits that can be swapped in less than two hours. This concept is based on a modular structure of both software and hardware, setting new benchmarks in production and maintenance.
Additionally, AXIS is opening up new revenue streams by developing and marketing core components such as flight models.

Project Objectives:

  • Independent development and production of FFS (Full Flight Simulator) core components to expand AXIS’s coverage of the value chain in the flight simulator sector.
  • RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) – Engineering and production of the world’s first FFS for fixed-wing aircraft with easily and efficiently interchangeable cockpits.

Expected Results:

With this investment project, we are setting new standards in the development and production of flight simulators. By doubling assembly capacity, optimizing storage spaces, and implementing modern assembly stations, we are creating the foundation for efficient and scalable processes.
At the same time, an expanded testing facility and advanced technologies ensure top product quality, reduced waste, and faster delivery times.

We leverage this innovative strength to increase our global market share. Acquiring new customers, building strong partnerships, and expanding our position as a technology leader are key milestones in this endeavor.
In addition, we are committed to sustainability: by 2030, we will save over 250,000 tons of COâ‚‚ and approximately 2.7 million kWh of energy, making a clear contribution to a more environmentally friendly future.
