WE GO BEYOND

AXIS Flight Simulation has been CO₂-neutral since 2021, and AXIS is reducing CO₂ within the company and its processes even further.

As part of this effort, the company is partnering with aviation sustainability specialist Azzera to support the Salkhit Wind Farm in Mongolia. This TÜV-validated 49 MW site supplies power to the Mongolian grid, reducing its dependency on coal. In so doing, the Salkhit contributes to the reduction of CO2 output. Through its support of this project, AXIS contributed to avoiding 5169 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions in 2021/2022 and 2023 (forecasted).

Salkhit is the first large-scale renewable energy project in Mongolia, making it a pathfinder of sorts for the country. AXIS is thus also helping Mongolia break new ground towards renewable energy.
