As Lead Systems Integration Architect, you are responsible for defining and managing requirements and for the seamless overall integration of systems, avionics, aerodynamic models, and various software systems into our flight simulators and training solutions. You will design the architecture based on our customers’ requirements and international specifications, structure all system and model integration activities, and coordinate the complete integration through to acceptance and qualification of new and existing products and solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for comprehensive requirement definition, system design/development and integration of simulated aircraft systems, avionics systems, aerodynamic models, and software systems
- Definition and implementation of the system architecture according to customer requirements and standards
- Coordination of all system and model integration activities across all involved departments
- Ensuring efficient requirement engineering and requirement management throughout the development process
- Support in the acceptance, qualification, and validation of new and existing products
- Close collaboration and coordination between software engineering, aviation engineering and other teams
- Responsibility for meeting project objectives regarding time, cost, and quality within the specified area of responsibility
- Risk management and development of technical solutions
- Promotion of cross-departmental communication and knowledge sharing
Your profile
- Completed degree (FH/TU) in aviation engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in systems integration – ideally in aviation or simulation projects
- In-depth knowledge of avionics, aerodynamic models, and software-based systems
- Practical experience in requirement engineering, systems engineering, project management, and team leadership
- In-depth understanding of system architectures and relevant aviation standards
- Strong communication skills and coordination skills across disciplines
- Structured, solution-oriented working method with a strong sense of quality and responsibility
- High level of self-motivation and flexibility in a dynamic technical environment
